Community outreach and bettering individuals is part of Weifield’s culture. Weifield Group supports the following non-profit organizations:
The Gathering Place – The Gathering Place exists to support women and their children who are experiencing homelessness or poverty by providing a safe daytime refuge and resources for self-sufficiency. Weifield has been a financial donor and supporter of The Gathering Place, the largest women’s shelter in Denver since 2002. Weifield Group accommodates the shelter’s electrical needs at no cost or donation.
Rocky Mountain Christian Church – Weifield has been very active with the Rocky Mountain Christian Church serving in various volunteer positions. Weifield Group accommodates the church’s electrical needs at cost or donation. Weifield financially supported the church’s new facility in Frederick, CO out of profits on their electrical portion of the project.
Swinerton Foundation – Supports worthwhile youth, health, human service, cultural and environmental programs including Walk for Alzheimer’s, College Construction Programs, Foundation for a Miracle, American Cancer Society and Lance Armstrong Challenge.
Cystic Fibrosis – Adding Tomorrows Every day. Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is to assure the development of the means to cure and control cystic fibrosis and to improve the quality of life for those with the disease. Since 2007, Weifield has financially participated in the Haselden 65 Roses Golf Tournament to raise money for Cystic Fibrosis.

FoodWorks Colorado (formerly Compa Food Bank)- Providing food for needy families in the Rocky Mountain region where we are training, sustaining and feeding those in need in our community. Since 2006, Weifield employees have raised money and donated food to this ministry which promotes self sufficiency to prevent homelessness.
Boys and Girls Club – Club programs and services promote and enhance the development of boys and girls by instilling a sense of competence, usefulness, belonging and influence. Boys & Girls Clubs are a safe place to learn and grow – all while having fun. Weifield financially supports the Gates Camp fund raising efforts.
Habitat for Humanity – Through volunteer labor and donations of money and materials, Habitat builds and rehabilitates simple, decent houses alongside our homeowner (partner) families. Weifield has been a supporter of Habitat for Humanity recruiting employees and vendors to participate and donate their skills on construction projects for needy families.
The Children’s Hospital Foundation – With the belief that all children should have the opportunity for a bright and healthy future, The Children’s Hospital Foundation is made up of more than 50 fundraising individuals, committed to involving the community in supporting each child and family associated with the hospital. Weifield actively participates in The Children’s Hospital Foundation’s Courage Classic, a three day bicycle tour.
Rocky Mountain Academy of Evergreen – The Rocky Mountain Academy of Evergreen is a public charter school. The academy has a solid foundation in Core Knowledge curriculum. Weifield group is an active financial supporter of the academy.
Green Mountain, Alameda, and Lakewood Youth Basketball – The GMAL Youth Basketball League is part of the Jefferson County Basketball League. One of our project managers is a coach for a third grade boys’ team. Weifield is a league sponsor and has made financial contributions to the team.
Bike MS Colorado Chapter – Multiple Sclerosis is a disease that affects the central nervous system. New treatments and advances in research are giving those with the disease new hope. Weifield is an active supporter of the MS Colorado Chapter, and participates in its annual Bike MS 150 event.
Partnership for Colorado - Each year, the project teams on the NREL campus donate for a cause. This year, Haselden Construction and Weifield joined efforts for Partnership for Colorado, an organization that supports more than 250 local non profit organizations serving community needs. Weifield Group also donated a portion of their client gifts to Partnership for Colorado.
The American Heart Association – The American Heart Association’s mission is to build healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke. Weifield is an active supporter and financial contributer in supporting the American Heart Association’s research and education.
Cancer League of Colorado, Inc. - Cancer League of Colorado was founded by five women whose families were affected by cancer. From the beginning, Cancer League has been committed to supporting cancer research and supports patient care and family programs. Unique to non-profits, Cancer League has no paid staff and no offices, being composed entirely of volunteers. Weifield is a financial supporter for Denver’s Over The Edge.
Gateway Battered Women’s Services – The overall mission of Gateway Battered Women’s Services is to work toward the elimination of personal and societal violence against all women and children by empowerment through education, support services, and by actually promoting social change within the community. Weifield is a sponsor for Gateway’s events to raise financial support for their cause.
Goodwill Industries International – Goodwill enhances the dignity and quality of life of individuals, families and communities by eliminating barriers to opportunity and helping people in need reach their fullest potential through the power of work. Weifield is a proud financial supporter of their mission.
Susan G. Komen for the Cure® - Susan G. Komen for the Cure® is the world’s largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists, working together to save lives, empower people, ensure quality care for all and energize science to find the cures. Weifield is a supporter of the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure® event.
Avista Hospital Foundation – The Avista Hospital Foundation is a nonprofit, faith-based fundraising organization dedicated to providing financial support to Avista Adventist Hospital, thereby helping to facilitate and improve healthcare for the people of our community. Weifield is a proud financial supporter of their mission.
Skills2Compete-Colorado – In partnership with National Skills Coalition, the Skills2Compete-Colorado campaign seeks to raise awareness of the need to train Colorado residents for middle-skill jobs, which require more than high school but not a four-year degree. These jobs make up the largest portion of Colorado’s labor market. Weifield Group is a key partner for the Skills2Compete-Colorado campaign.
