February 11, 2010: Weifield Awarded New Project – Country’s First Net Zero Energy Historic Building
Weifield Group was awarded the Wayne Aspinall Federal Building in partnership with Beck. Beck was awarded this project as a design build contract, so Weifield will assist them in finishing the design. This project will be the country’s first Net Zero Energy Historic Building. The project goal is to update and modernize a historic 92 year old building in down-town Grand Junction, while maintaining the historic look and feel of the building. This will be Weifield’s 3rd Net-zero energy project, making us the number one net-zero energy builder in this market.
