July 23, 2010: Weifield Group Celebrates New Project Awards
Two schools, the RSF 2 project, and three photovoltaic arrays complete a great first half for 2010.
July 23, 2010 – Weifield Group Contracting is proud to announce our new project awards for the first half of 2010. We have been awarded Columbine Elementary, St. Vrain High School, two DDRC photovoltaic array projects, and the highlight, the NREL Research Support Facilities 2 project.
- Columbine Elementary – Adolfson & Peterson, slated for completion August 2011. Complete electrical build out of a new 68,400 sq. ft. elementary school in Boulder, CO.

- St. Vrain High School – Haselden Construction, slated for completion December 2011. Complete new 188,000 sq. ft. high school located in Frederick, CO.

- DDRC University Hills and Centennial Promenade – SunEdison. Weifield is the prime contractor for two new 100KW photovoltaic arrays.

- NREL Research Support Facilities photovoltaic array – SunEdison. Weifield is the prime contractor for a new 500KW photovoltaic array.

- NREL Research Support Facilities 2 – Haselden Construction. Following in the steps of the first LEED Platinum, net-zero energy Research Support Facilities building, the RSF 2 will achieve the same level of energy efficiency. The RSF 2 is a 190,000 sq. ft. zero energy design-build project located on the NREL campus in Golden, CO. This is Weifield’s second net-zero energy building, and our third LEED Platinum project.
