The apprenticeship training is a four-year program in which students/apprentices attend a four-hour class one evening a week for eighteen weeks, two semesters per year. This training takes four years to complete and is recognized by the U.S. Office of Apprenticeship and Training (OA). Upon completion of the four-year program and successfully passing the journeyman’s examination, graduates receive 43 credit hours towards an Associate Degree through the Community College of Denver. In addition to their classroom training, students are able to gain on-the-job training and skills while working with Weifield’s experienced master electricians while on-site.
