Weifield Congratulates the NREL Crew for an Outstanding Job.

Weifield Group Contracting is proud to announce March’s Crew of the Month is the NREL Crew located in Golden, CO. The National Renewable Energy Laboratory’s Research Support Facility II is a 190,000 sq. ft. office building, which will be one of the most energy efficient buildings in the world.  The RSF II has a proposed energy design of 35 kBtu/sq ft/year.  The project is design-build with a 1.2 MW photovoltaic system and 13.2 kv infrastructures to support the RSF I, II, and future campus expansions.  Weifield Group carried all subsystems, including telecommunications, audio/visual, fire alarm, security, and intercom. All systems are tied in to the campus’ existing communications and security.

Their attention to detail and commitment to safety on the jobsite is impeccable.  Weifield is proud to have them part of our team.
