The LEED Silver Joint Forces Readiness Training Center honored as Intermountain Best of 2010’s Bronze winner for outstanding government/public buildings
CHEYENNE, WY– November 1, 2010 – The LEED Silver Joint Forces Readiness Training Center in Cheyenne, WY was honored in the Intermountain Best of 2010 as the Bronze winner for outstanding government/public buildings.
Weifield completed electrical on the new 145,000 sf center located on Warren Air Force Base and utilized by the Wyoming National Guard. This building centralized the department operations and increased functionality. To achieve LEED certification, 34% of materials were purchased locally, and 87% of the project waste was recycled.
