Project Scope:
For this $950K project, Weifield Group performed a complete remodel of sections in the existing facility, including the addition of new administration offices, new gym and locker rooms, and a new backstage area. Weifield Group also upgraded the fire alarm, clock, and other low voltage systems.
Project Challenges Overcome Through a Focus on Pre-Construction and Details
Weifield Group completed a comprehensive preconstruction layout and did several walkthroughs of the building before the project started to ensure we had a firm grip on all necessary details. Our layout drawings were instrumental in helping us complete installation on-time and within budget. Throughout the project, we conducted weekly job site meetings with the construction and safety managers to review project-specific conditions. We kept everyone on the same page regarding project scope and schedule. We faced abatement delays and had to conduct our work in a partially occupied building. We were able to navigate these challenges for a successful outcome.
Safety
This project encompassed 17,126 man hours, had no recordable accidents, and no lost time.
