Why Weifield?
Weifield Group was chosen for this project based on our planning strategy to avoid production losses caused by inclement weather, keeping the project on schedule.
Project Scope:
For this $1.2M project, Weifield Group performed a complete electrical build-out of the county jail addition, including an attached tunnel and new justice center. Weifield Group implemented a lighting control system, security system, 26.25 KW photovoltaic array and fire alarm system. This LEED Gold building was also a winner of the “Building of America” award given by The Real Estate and Construction Review – Colorado Edition – 2008.
An Organized, Coordinated, and Prepared Approach to Construction
Weifield Group’s preconstruction and operations teams worked closely with the construction team on this project to ensure successful strategy and management. Our planning practices not only benefited our firm, but our partners. Despite challenges of constant snowfall and multiple feet of snow on the ground, the project finished on schedule.
Safety:
Weifield Group’s safety manager developed a site-specific safety plan. The plan included the highest standard personal protective equipment, regular safety and training meetings, and job hazard analysis. This project encompassed 12,376 man hours, had no recordable accidents, and no lost time.
