Specialty Systems
Weifield performs numerous systems including lighting control, branch power, mechanical power, heat trace, medium voltage, underground electrical, temporary power, lightning protection, grounding, cathodic protection, UPS systems, and generator systems.
- Fire Alarm: Weifield has a strong team of NICET level II personnel that install fire alarm equipment provided to us. We have installed our supplier’s systems in-house for over 8 years. However, we will also work with the owner’s preferred fire alarm subcontractor, if requested.
- Paging, Security, CCTV, Audio Visual, Life Safety Systems, and Lightning Protection: Weifield can be flexible in the design and installation of these special systems. We will proceed with the solution that best meets the clients’ needs:
- coordinate with owner’s subcontractor to install the conduit,
- collaborate with subcontractor on the functionality and raceway locations,
- perform a hybrid project where Weifield pulls all cables, subcontracting the install and programming, or
- complete system design, implementation, and installation.
- Nurse Call: We order the materials and install this system internally; however we are open to change if it’s in the client’s best interest.
We utilize our 12,000 sq. ft. prefabrication shop, which is located in Denver, CO, to perform any off-site staging. This allows us to lower costs and shorten project duration. Vendors stage and store materials for shipment to the project and/or our prefabrication shop, helping us to remain cost effective.
