Culture of Care Commitment

Weifield’s Commitment to Our People

Because People is #1 in our PACT core values, at Weifield, it is important to us that every employee feels valued, welcomed, included, and safe when they come to work.

WEIFIELD’S PACT CORE VALUES

PEOPLE – Demonstrating fiscal responsibility, physical well-being, and integrity, every day, and empowering each other to be the best we can be through genuine caring and opportunities for teaching, learning, and celebrating together

ADVANCE PROCESS – Developing, communicating and improving our processes to achieve quality, training, and consistency, sharpen our focus, and lay the groundwork for continuous improvement

COMMUNITY – Giving our time and financial resources to worthy causes in order to make a meaningful difference in the places we live, work, and play

TRUSTING RELATIONSHIPS – Building our business through trusting relationships and caring concern for the well-being of our clients, vendors, and all other stakeholders

To create the desired impact, Weifield aligns itself under the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC) ‘Culture of CARE’ program initiative that we support as part of our existing company practices. AGC’s Culture of CARE program was designed to help construction companies reach their full potential by building a culture that is diverse, safe, welcoming, and inclusive; therefore, Weifield follows the core principles of this program which include:

COMMIT – To hire and pay based on skill and experience regardless of ability, age, ethnicity, gender identity, nationality, race, religion, sex, or sexual orientation

ATTRACT – To attract prospective employees by creating inclusive workspaces that are free from harassment, hazing, and bullying

RETAIN – To retain high-performing employees by identifying and removing barriers to employment

EMPOWER – To empower every employee to promote a culture of diversity and inclusion

ONGOING COMMUNICATION AND TRAINING

As part of this program, Weifield provides continual communication and training to our office and field employees on these principles. Each of our employees is also required to sign a Culture of Care personal pledge commitment in support of this initiative and our culture – which reinforces our position that:

  • Every individual has the right to a work environment that is free from harassment, hazing, and bullying
  • We will take action to ensure every employee at our company has the opportunity to reach their full potential by building a culture that is diverse, safe, welcoming, and inclusive

By following these best practices, Weifield ensures we foster a culture of belonging, for all.
