Weifield recently received this letter of support from Denver Rescue Mission which discusses our charitable efforts and how they’ve impacted their operations. We are honored to support this fantastic organization that touches so many lives in our community, year after year!
A Letter of Support from Denver Rescue Mission:
Weifield Group has had a significant impact on our organization, offering time, expertise and financial resources to help us reach our goals. They proudly state, “Community outreach and bettering individuals is part of Weifield’s culture,” and at Denver Rescue Mission, we have seen this statement lived out through their staff and leadership’s commitment to service and philanthropy.
In an effort to further incorporate this commitment into their culture, Weifield Group elected to host a fundraising party benefittng non‐profits each year, in celebration of the company’s anniversary. The event hosts over 400 people and Denver Rescue Mission has been a recipient of the funds raised for the past two years. This event has been a wonderful way for us to become further connected with Weifield Group’s employees and share about the work we are doing to serve the poor and homeless. The financial contribution resulting from this event has also been an incredible blessing to the Mission.
In addition, Weifield Group employees regularly take time away from their work to serve lunch to those who visit Denver Rescue Mission. These volunteer shifts allow employees the opportunity to offer support and encouragement to our guests who come to us in need, while helping with a crucial aspect of our services.
Weifield Group employees have also played a critical role in our New Life Program, helping prepare participants for successful employment by hosting mock interviews as they work toward re‐entering the workforce. In addition, Weifield Group hires candidates out of the New Life program into their electrical apprenticeship program and cover associated costs of the education necessary to become a licensed journeyman.
Each year, Weifield group brings a NASCAR Super Late Model for the children who live at The Crossing, Denver Rescue Mission’s long‐term rehabilitation and transitional living facility. This has been a very special experience for our kiddos and we are so grateful!
Partners like Weifield Group play such an important role in the work we do in our community and we are thankful for their continued support and dedication to bettering the lives of others!
