Weifield was honored to be recognized at last Friday’s ABC Rocky Mountain Chapter 2025 Annual Safety Conference and STEP Awards — with a Silver ABC Safety STEP Award for excellent safety performance in 2024! This event was hosted by the Construction Industry Training Council (CITC) in Wheat Ridge, CO and in addition to the STEP awards, included a 2025 ABC Rocky Mountain Scholarships presentation as well as topics covered by numerous construction safety experts that helped participants stay up-to-date on the latest safety initiatives.
ABC’s Safety Training Evaluation Process (STEP) is a national program established in 1989 that evaluates and strengthens safety practices in the construction industry, helping companies build safer jobsites through proactive programs and continuous improvement. The framework enables top-performing ABC members to achieve incident rates nearly six times safer than the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics construction industry average.
