Excited to share that our team has reached 35% completion on the Boulder Phosphorus Upgrade Project (PUP) in Boulder, CO, with PCL Construction (GC)! Our team is currently focused on conduit rough-ins across multiple areas, branch wire pulls, terminations in the Hydro Cyclone building, and gear installation.

Boulder’s Water Resource Recovery Facility (WRRF), built in the late 1960s, treats 25 million gallons of wastewater daily before release to Boulder Creek. Over the years, the facility has been upgraded to meet new regulations, improve energy efficiency, and enhance resource recovery. Now, with tighter nitrogen and phosphorus limits being implemented, this $4.4M electrical project is focused on phosphorus upgrades, a new hydro cyclone facility, tank retrofits, upgraded aeration blowers, campus-wide fiber routing, and a SCADA system upgrade.

Great work to the crew for keeping things moving!
