Weifield’s Industrial’s crew has reached the 55% completion mark for our Cherokee WRF (Water Reclamation Facility) project in the town of Wellington, CO — with valued GC partner, Garney Construction!

This project is comprised of a new Headworks Building, Chemical Building, Filter Building, and modifications of two existing SBR Basins into continuous flow Bioreactor trains. The Filter Building will also include a Hollow Fiber MBR system and a High Recovery RO system. The integration of a new 480V 2500A switchboard for distribution of these facilities will be included along with medium voltage equipment and cabling to deliver power to an existing 2000kW generator.

Our Industrial Foreman, Jeremy D., would like to thank his team for their amazing work on this project. Said Jeremy: “At we moment, we are about 55% complete on Cherokee.  One crew has been working on roughing in pumps in the motors in the Filter building. Another crew has started roughing in the grit washing equipment, along with the rotary drum screens in headworks. Proud of what’s been accomplished!”

Fantastic work, team!!
