Weifield’s crew has reached the 15% completion mark for our Colorado Convention Center (CCC) Expansion project in downtown Denver — with valued GC partner, HENSEL PHELPS!
This project encompasses approximately 250,000 sq. ft. of vertical expansion – including a rooftop expansion, a new 80,000 sq. ft. ballroom, a 50,000 sq. ft. outdoor terrace, technology upgrades throughout the facilities – as well as the renovation of 120,000 sq. ft. of lobby space and code/life safety upgrades.
The shots included here show the progress photos as compared to the VDC models – the team is steadily progressing after achieving some huge milestones in recent months with tasks such as the execution of one of the most physically demanding cutovers our superintendent has ever done within an active facility, in December; Weifield completed this phase without any major issues
