Congratulations to the City of Longmont Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) team for being named Weifield’s November Crew of the Month!
The City of Longmont WWTP Gravity Thickening & Gas Digester project with Glacier Construction (General Contractor), led by Weifield Project Manager, Curtis Miller, and Field Supervisor, Mike Baltazar, involves the replacement of four thickened sludge pumps in the Sludge Control Building and Thickener 2 Building, as well as the replacement of one primary sludge pump as well as the electrical & instrumentation. This project also includes replacement of duplex sump pumps in two locations and replacement of corroded electrical conduits, along with the replacement of a waste gas burner and modification of associated sludge gas process instrumentation. This project started in February and demobilized last week.
