At the recent Independent Electrical Contractors, Inc. (IEC National) 2025 Business Summit in San Antonio TX, IEC announced the winners of the 2024 IEC Award Winners across all categories – and Weifield was honored to receive an IEC Excellence in Construction Award in the $5M – $7M category for our exceptional work on our CSU Lory Student Center Revitalization – Phase 3 project!
This project with valued GC partner, Haselden Construction, was comprised of a 100,147 sq. ft. remodel and addition to the existing three-story building—covering numerous critical functions of the facility, including the bookstore, the Adult Learning & Veterans Services area, the ballroom/event areas, the Aspen Grill food court, and more. There were numerous challenges to overcome yet Weifield’s crew executed the extensive, multi-phased remodel in time for the 2023-24 school year—while several areas of the building remained open for student and faculty use.
