Weifield’s own Karla Nugent, Founder & Chief Revenue Officer, was honored to be the Keynote Speaker at the recent IEC-Rocky Mountain apprenticeship graduation ceremony on Saturday, June 7th where the largest graduating class in IECRM’s history – of 277 graduates – was celebrated for completing their four-year apprenticeship programs!
In her speech, Karla showed a physical object – a relay baton – while she emphasized the importance of building relationships, showing up and being your best, and being a lifelong learner by asking questions/being proactive as graduates embark on their electrical careers.
Said Karla: “I encourage you to take this opportunity and make the most of it. Make a plan for your electrical career – and work the plan. And remember…you can have big impact and make our industry better. We hand you the baton and it’s your race to run!”
