Weifield was honored to join our state government leaders and Colorado business leaders at the Colorado Prayer Luncheon last Thursday, May 10th, at the Four Seasons Ballroom (Colorado Convention Center) in downtown Denver!
The Host Committee of the Colorado Prayer Luncheon began this event to bring together leaders from many facets of the Colorado society to gather for inspiration and to share with with one another their spiritual roots and values. The event was presided over by Dave Runyon of CityUnite, an organization that helps church leaders work together to partner with business and government leaders to address the major issues facing their cities. Governor John Hickenlooper opened the program with a State welcome and the keynote speaker was Tamrat Layne, a former Prime Minister of Ethiopia who delivered an amazing story of a former revolutionary, prisoner, and statesman who was converted to become a follower of Jesus Christ. Karla Nugent, Weifield Chief Business Development Officer, delivered the event’s closing prayer.

We were honored to be a part of this inspiring luncheon!
