Congratulations to our Special Project division’s DEN3 team for being named Weifield’s December, 2022 Rocky Mountain Crew of the Month!
The DEN3 project with R&R Wolf in Thornton, CO started out with little demo and building a new Mezzanine Level, adding power for the newest technology in conveyers, racking and sorting machines. Weifield added the following for connection to the new equipment and machines: (1) new 1200amp distribution board a new 400amp 480V branch panelboard (1) 200amp Disconnect (1) 120/208V 84 circuit panel board, and added circuits from existing MDP to the new equipment above.
The project is led by Brian L. (Project Manager), Jesse R. (Foreman), Chris S. (Foreman) and Tyler W. (Estimator).
Per Brian L.: “Chris S. done an outstanding job leading this field team for a new Foreman. He created great customer relationships and has led his team to be a favorite of the project. Chris plans, communicates, and listens like a seasoned professional. Every subcontractor wanted Weifield to do their extra work due to the professionalism of Chris and his team. The communication and coordination with the other subcontractors and Chris’s team, helped the project tremendously as equipment was not on time. This created lots of changes, which kept our team busy during down time while waiting on contract equipment. Our Foreman, Jesse R., did a great job of layout, material coordination and installation of the power, LV, and fire alarm team. I have been in the trade for 40 years and have had the pleasure of working with this type of quality, good hearted people that take ownership of the task at hand. I am proud to say I had these gentlemen on our team. Whether it’s planning work, running conduit, installing tray in the field (with now drawings) for some very complemented work, to wiring up conveyers and control panels, they were the best. Bottom line, without the team on this project, it would have never been such an awesome project to be part of.”
