Kudos to our Rocky Mountain July, 2024 Employees of the Month — Charles A., Weifield Rocky Mountain Apprentice, Johnathan O., Weifield Rocky Mountain Apprentice and Tyler P., Weifield Rocky Mountain Journeyman!

The August, 2024 Employee of the Month round focused on identifying teammates in our company who are best in Gear/Panel Make Up.

Charles, Johnathan and Tyler were nominated by Dustin F. (Weifield Rocky Mountain Foreman), who said the following:

From Dustin for Charles: “Charles has shown while on this project to be a true craftsman, everything from working on the site lighting, to now making up our ATS in Service 1. This was a challenge as we had 3 different sources each having 12 runs of 4 @ 400Kcmil conductors. In order to make up this gear, Charles physically had to get into the gear as he methodically worked each wire into place, before cutting, stripping, crimping and landing each one. When it was all said and done the final product is something both the company and Charles can be proud of.”

From Dustin for Johnathan: “Johnathan took what he saw from Charles and continued the process in Service 4. The equipment Jonathan made up has received multiple comments on the quality of the install, to include complements from the owners of WGC, the GC’s super, the customers rep, and his peers. Jonathan has also taken on terminating every other piece of big gear associated with service 4, all resulting in the same quality, He has overcome the challenges of working in a small space, dressing large wires and given this customer a product worthy to have the WGC stamp on.”

From Dustin for Tyler: “Tyler decided he wanted to join in the fun and has taken on terminations in Service 2. Tyler wanted to step out of his comfort zone and step into the world of one line make up. He fully took the bull by the horns and jumped into MSB1. Tyler’s attention to detail, and desire to provide a quality product really shinned through as every wire was uniform, seated properly in each lug and looked as though he has been making up gear for years.”

Charles, Jonathan and Tyler are being awarded a $100 gift card and will be featured in Weifield’s online communications.

Thank you for all you do for Weifield and your gear/panel make up skills, Charles, Johnathan and Tyler — congratulations!
