Weifield is thrilled to announce that our Denver Public Schools (DPS) Emily Griffith Technical College Campus project with PCL Construction (GC) has recently won the 2015 Denver Business Journal Real Estate Champions award!
In order to recognize the movers and shakers who have guided this progressive industry, the Denver Business Journal launched its first Real Estate Champions Awards, in 2015, that recognizes those companies involved in putting together some of Denver’s best real estate deals during the past 18 months. For the inaugural year, eight projects were recognized along with the first Visionary Award that honors an individual’s lifetime of contribution to the metro Denver real estate industry and the broader community. From concept to completed project, the Denver Business Journal is honoring the teams that got the jobs done — from law firms, to contractors, to financiers.
Helping Denver Public Schools (DPS) consolidate three entities—the DPS administration offices, a new 400-student downtown elementary school, and the 8,500-student Emily Griffith Technical College/companion high school—was what Weifield and our partners achieved with the completion of our design-build project at 1860 Lincoln Street—which, ironically, was the address of Weifield’s first office over 13 years ago.
An awards luncheon honoring the 2015 winners is slated for July 15 and a special publication, both in print and online, profiling the winning projects will be available in the Denver Business Journal on July 17.

Congratulations to our Weifield team and to all of our partners for this fantastic recognition!
