This $2.2M project with Moltz Construction (GC), led by Weifield Project Manager, Brian Cole, and Field Supervisor, Mike Baltazar, started in May, 2016 and included the construction of a headworks building with mechanical screening, grit removal and handing, and odor control. Weifield installed a complete electrical system including a new 3,200-amp service with ATS, MCC, and VFD’s — instrumentation included magnetic flow meters, pressure transducers, level transmitters, pressure switches and relay level switches to monitor integration into the facility’s existing SCADA system. Weifield also installed a new 1,500kw diesel fuel standby generator for emergency power failure. The project is anticipated to complete in mid-June of this year.
