Congratulations to Weifield’s CU Aerospace project team for being named our December, 2018 Crew of the Month!
This design-assist project with Whiting-Turner (General Contractor), started in late 2017 and is led by Weifield’s Scott Buckey (Superintendent), Bob Watkins (Project Executive), Dustin Tafoya (PM), and Ben Zimmerman (Estimator). The project is comprised of a new construction four-story, 146,000 sq. ft. aerospace engineering building for the University of Colorado at Boulder that will include rocket engine testing, classrooms, machine shops, workshops, dry and wet laboratories, and drone fields.
Weifield’s Crews of the Month are selected via numerous criteria including safety, quality of work, schedule, teamwork, attendance, meeting financial targets, and formal client feedback/praise.
