PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This design-build project includes the design and construction for approximately 250,000 sq. ft. of vertical expansion to the Convention Center, renovation of approximately 120,000 sq. ft. of lobby space, new vertical conveyances and required code and life safety upgrades. The expansion areas include rooftop expansion, a new 80,000 sq. ft. ballroom, a 50,000sq. ft. outdoor terrace, and a new smoke control head end system for the entire facility. The facility will have a new state-of-the-art lighting control system and a color-changing light scheme within the ballroom space.
