PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project is a new construction 207,000 sq. ft. building in the Texas Capitol Complex located in downtown Austin. Employee Retirement Systems (ERS) provides services to employees and retirees of State of Texas agencies and some higher education institutions. The scope of work for this project will include ground-up construction of a nine-story building consisting of four parking levels, four office space levels, and one level of pedestrian-oriented restaurant/retail use. The new construction will provide ERS with adequate space for existing staff, accommodate the company’s future growth, and provide a source of income from lease spaces.
