“WEIFIELD IS ALWAYS LOOKING FOR INNOVATIVE WAYS TO IMPROVE” ~ ANGELA SHOUEY, WEIFIELD INDUSTRIAL PROJECT MANAGER
I started when I was 16 years old, building ceiling fan displays for Montgomery Wards as an after school job. I then enrolled to Job Corp and advanced completed from HBI Building and Apartment Maintenance and Pre-apprenticeship Electrical. I then started at the Portland Local and moved to the Denver Local for Electrical workers, received my JW and moved into the office as a Project Coordinator and then advanced to an Assistant Project Manager and then to Project Manager. I traveled around the western US for 11 years working on large water treatment plant facilities. I wanted to stop traveling for my family so I took a job with an Integration Firm and that is where I met Curtis and Penny, who my company worked with. I really liked how they did things and approached them to come work with them in Windsor. I am now a Project Manager in the Windsor Industry Office.
I like the constant change. It is never the exact same thing every job. Its challenging and requires strategy and planning.
I would like to thank the following for their mentorship, support and guidance throughout my career: Bill Miller, Patrick Dannenberg, Julie Gibson, Sharon Pedroncelli, Curtis Miller, Scott Dick and my husband Jason Shouey.
I love the fact that Weifield is always looking for innovative ways to improve, they have an amazing training program and give back generously to the community. The fact that we work with Peer One was incredible news to me. It is a phenomenal program with a huge long term success record.
I hope to be seen as both a mentor and a leader as a Project Manager for Weifield Group. I hope to be a key player in Weifield Group’s long term success.
