Hats off to Weifield’s Large Construction team for their progress on the Colorado Convention Center Expansion project in Denver, Colorado — with valued GC partner, Hensel Phelps!
This design-build project includes the design and construction of approximately 250,000 sq. ft. of vertical expansion to the Convention Center, a renovation of approximately 120,000 sq. ft. of lobby space, new vertical conveyances, and required code and life safety upgrades. The expansion areas include a rooftop expansion, a new 80,000 sq. ft. ballroom, a 50,000 sq. ft. outdoor terrace, and a new smoke control system for the entire facility.
