On Saturday, February 3rd, Weifield’s RM Industrial Division held a successful Controls Training held at both the Centennial, CO headquarters’ Training Room and the Loveland, CO (NOCO) Warehouse – facilitated by Scott D., Weifield Industrial General Superintendent, and taught by Angela S., Industrial PM, and Chris W., Industrial Superintendent!

This was a needed and widely-requested training with 25 total participants (14 in NOCO and 11 in Centennial). The class syllabus was created by Angela and Chris — and covered the following topics: Instrumentation, Control Components, PLC’s, Communication Protocols, PFD / P&ID Review, and Ladder Diagrams.

Said Scott: “Knowing that everyone attending was there voluntarily on a Saturday and listening to the passion that Chris and Angela had while teaching, it was apparent to me that this is how we grow best-in-class electricians in the industry. There were a lot of questions and participation from the class—and the training received great overall reviews from all participants. We will keep improving this class over time based on feedback in certain areas. The team enjoyed a great lunch as well, arranged by Lacey B. Weifield currently has four similar classes that will be launched this year that cover a multitude of topics.  I am so proud of our team for the passion they have for developing others and for giving back to the people of our great company – which is the epitome of our PACT!”

Great work TEAM – kudos to all participants for your attendance and participation on a SNOWY Saturday!
