On October 22nd, Weifield was honored to participate in a ‘Career Exploration Day’ for Cherry Creek Schools students with our valued partners at JE Dunn Construction and AGC Colorado!
At this event, Cherry Creek students explored career pathways and obtained knowledge from JE Dunn, Weifield, and AGC Colorado on the abundant opportunities within the construction industry while having the opportunity to go on a job site tour at the JE Dunn/ Weifield HCA Centennial Medical Plaza project, take a tour of Weifield’s Prefabrication shop, receive an apprenticeship, training, and pay/benefits overview from Weifield, and participate in other educational sessions.
Helping instruct the students were Weifield’s Jeff Holderman (Field Supervisor), Doug Angerman (Prefabrication Manager), Davis Condreay (Field Supervisor), and Glori Thompson (HR Generalist).
We look forward to many more of these career exploration days with students, in the future!
