Congratulations to our Wells Denver Precast team for being named Weifield’s January, 2020 Crew of the Month! This Brighton, CO project with PCL Construction (General Contractor) started in March, 2019 and involves a relocation of structural and architectural plants to new, single 50-acre office and operations site that employs 150 employees for the client, Rocky Mountain Prestress. The production building includes a maintenance garage, tool room, boiler room, supervisor offices, steel shop, mold shop, and an enclosed casting bay. There is a batch plant that serves the entire plant and water treatment where all waste is processed on site; the project also includes parking, a quality control lab, and an office building with cafeteria, kitchen, locker rooms, conference rooms, restrooms, and an open office plan.

This project began with scheduling challenges due to adverse weather conditions, pushing the completion of all underground site work from October, 2019 to March, 2020 – with completion anticipated in the fall of this year. Led by Chris Schreffler (Superintendent), Craig Welton (Project Manager), and Connor Bonnicksen (Estimator), the Wells Denver Precast team has worked diligently to provide superior customer service and serve as PCL’s go-to electrical contractor throughout the project.

Weifield’s Crews of the Month are selected via numerous criteria including safety, quality of work, schedule, teamwork, attendance, meeting financial targets, and formal client feedback/praise. The Wells Precast team includes (shown in this photo, left to right): David Breeden, Will Pauni, Jordan Gagnon, Donovan Gilbert, Matt Gordon, Matt Wood-Wilson, Don Henslee, Zach Osborne, Luke Verstraete, Nate Alfson, Nick Thomas, Chris Westerhoff, Alex Perez, Dylan Behan, Pete Barragree, Issac Luna, Matt Ruhl, Rob Urioste, Andrew Hernandez, Craig Welton, Mike Saldana, Josh Nunn, Ethan Buckwalter, Danny Apostolov, and Chris Schreffler.
