On August 27th, 2018, Jim Dent (Weifield Preconstruction VP) and partner, Kevin Perri from Noresco, gave a 2015 International Energy Code Conservation training to nearly 100 City & County of Denver employees!
The City & County of Denver reached out to Jim in mid-June in an effort to secure additional training on the currently-enforceable 2015 IECC for their plan review and inspections staff. Jim and Kevin’s presentation focused on three core areas within the 2015 IECC code: energy modeling analysis and reports, commissioning tasks and reports, and existing buildings/TI documentation. Their training session opened with Denver Building Official, Scott Prisco, providing IECC policy highlights, and ended with a Q & A session.
Other U.S. city and state government officials have expressed interest in this training, as well; we’ll keep you informed as to Weifield’s continuing code training activities!
