Kudos to our Industrial Wellington Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Expansion team for being named Weifield’s April, 2024 Rocky Mountain Crew of the Month!
This project with Hensel Phelps – Hydro (GC) in Wellington, Colorado consists of improvements to the Town of Wellington’s WTP to attain 4.27 MGD capacity.
The project is led by Mike B. (Project Manager), Matthew C. (Field Supervisor), Tyler S. (Estimator), Carly J. (Project Engineer) and Scott D. (Project Executive). The team members include: Brock C. (Apprentice), Dominick E. (Apprentice), Kevin F. (Journeyman), Gregory J. (Journeyman), Robert P. (Apprentice), Matthew S. (Journeyman), Tommy S. (Apprentice), Kelsey W. (Apprentice) and Andrew W. (Foreman). Previous team members were Jesse C. (Apprentice) and Dakota J. (Estimator).
Said Matthew: “Here at Wellington WTP, the crew has been solid from the beginning; even before I joined the project in January. Since then, we have added a number of great team members from across Northern Colorado and even a couple from Wyoming. Everyone has been working together to move the project towards a common goal with quality work and safe practices. Many of our crew have been highlighted by the GC for exemplifying a high standard in safety. This has not been a particularly easy project, with new and unexpected obstacles arising at every turn, but the strongest bonds are formed in a crucible. Those relationships are strong within our own team, but also with the other trades on site as well. All in all, the People on this project have really lived and worked according to the PACT.”
Congratulations to our outstanding Wellington WTP Expansion team for this well-deserved recognition!
