Weifield Texas continues the partnership with SkillPoint Alliance for class mentor visits!
On Tuesday, September 26th, Celina C. (HR Generalist) and Josh S. (Preconstruction Manager) visited the students at Skillpoint. Weifield Texas was thrilled to share more about the career opportunities within the electrical field and encourage these students to complete this pre-apprentice electrical training program and then complete an electrical apprenticeship. Celina shared insight on how to stand out as an applicant and as a 1st year apprentice on a jobsite and Josh shared his experience starting out in the trade after high school and his career progression through residential, commercial and industrial industries to where he is now.
These students were very engaged and had a lot of great questions! We look forward to their graduation on October 19th.
