Weifield’s performance on The Metropolitan State University of Denver’s new state-of-the-art Aerospace and Engineering Sciences building allowed general contractor, GH Phipps, to save time and cost while meeting the aggressive schedule.
This $4.4M design assist project – which ran from May, 2016 to October, 2017 — is a 142,000 sq. ft. facility consisting of specialized laboratories to help train future workers in metro Denver’s booming aerospace economy. Weifield’s scope included furnishing and implementing the electrical systems required for the $60M building that included classrooms, specialized labs, and offices.
