In late January 2018, Weifield was excited to learn that our Industrial division’s City of Westminster Water Treatment Facilities Improvements Project (with GC, J.R. Filanc Construction Co.) won a Colorado Contractors Association (CCA) H2O Award!
This is the first year for the CCA H2O Awards which recognize excellence in the field of construction project management for water-related projects. The nomination categories span all types of water projects, from Play Pump Stations (Wastewater) to Urban Drainage & Flood Mitigation.
For the City of Westminster Water Treatment Facilities Improvements Project, Weifield performed a series of electrical improvements, including installing new exhaust fans and instruments in existing wells, removing and replacing pumps, modifying the existing MCC, and simplifying the controls system.
