The Special Projects Division’s Ascent Classical Academy project, located in Windsor, CO, started in January 2021 and consists of approximately 40,000 square feet of a new K-8 school with construction. The facility will have a new electrical service with accommodations for the future phase of grades 9-12 buildout, site lighting, multi-use gym/auditorium, classrooms, and support spaces. Weifield successfully worked as a design-assist partner to bring the project within budget and schedule.

Per Kelly: “Working on this project has had its challenges. Bob B. (Foreman) and Matt F. (General Superintendent) are playing a major role in trying to keep the project and GC moving in the right direction. With those challenges, growth has come out of it for all of us. Everyone has been willing to dig in and lean on each other for support. I feel like we are the strongest player in the field, and because of that the GC is wanting us to be a part of other projects.”
