The 17 Wewatta project consists of a phased mixed-use building on an 87,350 square foot vacant site in the Union Station Master Plan development bounded by Wewatta Street, Chestnut Street, 17th Street, and 18th Street in Denver, Colorado. The building is Type I construction, and includes one level of underground parking for approximately 200 spaces, a ground level consisting of approximately 85,000 square feet of retail space, services, and residential lobbies; a partial mezzanine level parking deck; two levels of above-grade parking for approximately 400 spaces; a fourth floor podium level amenity space, complete with swimming pool and deck, landscaping, shade structures, and, a common amenity structure including space for a fitness center, theater, game room, lounge, clubhouse and other amenities; levels 4 – 13 are residential apartments constructed in three towers as described herein. Total gross square footage for the project is 1,062,000 sq. ft.
