PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This project is an 18,500 sq. ft. building expansion of the Verizon Wireless Aurora Mobile Switching Center (MSC). Specifically, the project is comprised of a Multi-Access Edge Computing (MEC) MSC Expansion which includes the addition of new UPS power, space and cooling to support the MEC equipment space. The expansion accommodates the new Verizon high density concept which includes a new 7,000 sq. ft. switch room, electrical rooms, UPS rooms, and support spaces; two 3,000kW generators are also planned.
