As Director of Marketing, Jill Farrand oversees Weifield’s internal and external marketing, PR, and communications activities to enhance the company’s brand and market position.
Jill has decades of experience in communications, public relations, and marketing roles across multiple industries, including healthcare, television/radio, education, technology, and construction. She holds a Mass Communications – Advertising degree from Winona State University in Winona, Minnesota; it was at Jill’s first job as a communications specialist at Winona’s Community Memorial Hospital where she developed her love of crafting messaging in a way that truly reached people and inspired action. Jill then moved to the Twin Cities and served as an Assignment Editor at KSTP-TV in Minneapolis before making the move to Colorado to pursue an M.A. in Integrated Marketing Communications from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
Jill’s career history progressed in her roles as Technical Writing Specialist at TCI/CSG Systems, Automation Analyst and Marketing Manager at Inflow (a Denver-based Internet start-up company), and Global Communications and Proposal Manager at Philadelphia-based Sungard Availability Services. Jill currently serves on the AGC Colorado ACE Awards committee and teaches award-writing workshops on an ongoing basis. She is passionate about utilizing her experience to generate an effective and engaging marketing presence for Weifield Group to help the organization reach its performance goals.
