PETE FARRENYFOUNDER/CONSTRUCTION EXECUTIVE

    As a Weifield founding partner and Construction Executive, Pete Farreny manages Weifield’s large construction division. He oversees the wide variety of private and public construction projects across all industry verticals, including high-profile and difficult large projects.

    As a Construction Executive, Pete helps support the preconstruction process and ensures the company core values and project construction processes are being followed and consistent. He provides accurate manpower forecasting, develops and manages vendor/subcontractor relations, and is an active part in the resolution of specific project opportunities and challenges. Pete regularly communicates with project leadership and actively participates in site visits, facilitating the execution of work while being a customer liaison to general contractors, end users and owners.

    He holds a Master Electrician license in Colorado and New Mexico, and has over 34 years of experience in construction and management. Pete’s leadership experience extends beyond Weifield, as he was past president of the Independent Electrical Contractors – Rocky Mountain (IECRM) association. Pete emphasizes a strong focus on training and quality control within his team and personally holds OSHA 30-hour certification and has completed numerous management and training control courses (e.g., Purdue’s Electrical Project Management Institute and DOE safety certification).

    Pete ensures Weifield achieves an impeccable safety record on an ongoing basis and continually focuses on providing training programs to keep employees aware of new codes, technologies, processes and procedures that enhance performance in the field.
