Avista Adventist Hospital in Louisville, Colorado is a comprehensive Centura Health medical center that provides a full range of medical specialties and exceptional health care to the Louisville, Superior, Broomfield and surrounding Boulder area communities. In the first part of 2020 – around the time the global pandemic was just emerging in the U.S. — Avista requested Weifield’s assistance to complete this design-assist project involving the paralleling of two 600 kW Cummins generator sets with a new switchboard. Having benefited from Weifield’s expertise on multiple past projects, the hospital’s leaders were confident in our ability to tackle this complex project.
