Kudos to our Rocky Mountain December, 2023 Employee of the Month — Erin K., Weifield Rocky Mountain Project Engineer!
The December, 2023 Employee of the Month round focused on identifying teammates in our company who best represent the ‘T’ (Trusting Relationships) value in our PACT.
Erin was nominated by Stephen B. (Weifield Rocky Mountain Industrial Foreman), Angela S. (Weifield Rocky Mountain Industrial Project Manager) and Chris W. (Weifield Rocky Mountain Industrial Superintendent), who said the following:
Said Stephen: “Erin works very hard with our engineers here at Boulder to get problems sorted out with our submittals and O&Ms. Erin put a lot of work into setting up the cards and coffee event we held a few months back. Frequently Erin gets kudos during our weekly progress meetings from the city and HDR.”
Said Angela: “Erin is truly an assist to all the relationships on the project from the apprentices to the FS, the subcontractors, vendors, owners and clients. She is never afraid of being wrong or asking for help. She always speaks up about her issue in meetings. She is patient with us all and routinely makes sure to give praise for a job well done. She listens to our needs and is exceptional in standing her ground without being offensive. Our team could not be who we are without her and the way she is able to deal with all the different personalities.”
Said Chris: “Erin is my PE on the Boulder Project and has been on several of my projects before. She is amazing at her job, and she is truly in the glue that holds our team together. Erin has helped build the trust that we have with the engineers on Boulder. Erin has gone out of her way to meet with the engineers and help them with transitions when they had electrical engineers leave the company. Erin takes care of all the nonsense and tedious items that need to be done, especially with the GCs site management team. This team and this project would not be anywhere near as successful as it is without her. Amazing PE and an amazing Person!”
Erin is being awarded a $100 gift card and will be featured in Weifield’s online communications.
