The Weifield Rocky Mountain Team enjoyed attending and supporting the Chanda Plan Foundation 19th Annual ‘Strike the Match’ Big Event – which helped raise more than $400K and achieve the Chanda Plan organization’s goal of owning its facility free and clear, in 2024!
The Chanda Center for Health building supports its work to ensure healthcare evolves, disabilities and wellness coexist, and lives are positively impacted. As a nonprofit organization, the Chanda Plan Foundation offered integrative therapies at little to no cost to participants beginning in 2005. After extensive discussions with participants and collaborations with stakeholders, the Chanda Center Health facility was established in 2017 to meet the needs of the population it serves; Weifield donated our services to help build this facility with our valued partners—and continues to assist at the facility with service and maintenance. The Center soon became the one-stop-shop for individuals to access a wide range of services provided by disability competent healthcare professionals and designed to improve the health outcomes and lower healthcare costs with disability component care as the guiding principle.
The primary goal of the Chanda Center for Health is to give persons with long-term physical disabilities the services they need to improve their overall health and participation in life.
