Seth Anderson, Chief Executive Officer

As a Weifield partner and CEO, Seth Anderson is responsible for providing leadership, developing strategic plans to advance the company, and promoting revenue, profitability, and growth. Seth has extensive experience in design-build, design-assist, and plan/spec across a multitude of verticals, including high tech buildings, the U.S. Government, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, education, high- and low-rise buildings, and mixed use projects. He has a degree in Construction Management from Moorhead State University in Minnesota.

Seth has led Weifield to become one of the top five electrical contractors in Colorado through proactive planning, a solid process foundation, superior hiring practices, and strategic alliances. Seth’s current and future goals are geared toward ensuring that Weifield is on-track to becoming one of the largest electrical contractors in the United States. Seth is a member of Young President’s Organization (YPO), the United States Green Building Council (USGBC), and is serving on the Specialty Contractor Council Board for Associated General Contractors (AGC) as well as the Mile High Youth Corps Board.

Karla Nugent, Chief Business Development Officer

As a Weifield partner, Karla Nugent is responsible for the company’s business development, marketing, sales, and preconstruction departments. She has a degree in Psychology from Colorado State University and her leadership experience spans the distribution, data center construction, business expansion, operation automation, electrical construction, and philanthropy arenas. Karla’s efforts have led Weifield to a leadership position in energy-efficiency and management and becoming the first electrical contractor in the region to complete a Net-Zero energy project.

Karla successfully promotes Weifield Group while passionately advocating for a better construction workforce and industry. She currently serves as the Vice President of the Avista Hospital Board of Trustees, is a Rocky Mountain Christian Academy Board member, and serves on the Executive Council for the Emily Griffith Technical College. She has also served as president of the Independent Electrical Contractors – Rocky Mountain (IECRM) Association, and chair of the Constructors and Designers Alliance (CDA). In recent years, Karla presented to the Colorado General Assembly, advocating for improved training for the next generation of construction workers, which led to her becoming one of the founding members of SkillBuild Colorado and Skills2Compete Colorado. Karla has been honored with numerous notable industry and business awards, including the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce’s ‘Top 25 Most Powerful Women in Business’ award, Denver Business Journal’s ‘Outstanding Women in Busines’” award, CREW Denver’s ‘Emerging Iconic Woman’ award, and Denver Business Journal Partners in Philanthropy’s ‘Corporate Citizen of the Year’ award.

Pete Farreny, Chief Construction Officer

As partner and Chief Construction Officer, Pete Farreny manages Weifield’s large construction division. He oversees the wide variety of private and public construction projects across all industry verticals, including high-profile and difficult large projects. He holds a Master Electrician license in Colorado and New Mexico, and has over 30 years of experience in construction and management. Pete’s leadership experience extends beyond Weifield, as he is currently serving his second term as president of the Independent Electrical Contractors – Rocky Mountain (IECRM) association. Pete emphasizes a strong focus on training and quality control within his team and personally holds OSHA 30-hour certification and has completed numerous management and training control courses (e.g., Purdue’s Electrical Project Management Institute and DOE safety certification).

Pete ensures Weifield achieves an impeccable safety record on an ongoing basis and continually focuses on providing training programs to keep employees aware of new codes, technologies, processes and procedures that enhance performance in the field.

James Selecky, Chief Special Projects Officer

As partner and Chief Special Projects Officer, James Selecky manages the output and execution of Weifield’s Special Projects division. This division completes a wide variety of projects throughout Colorado within the government/municipal, education, community/retail, commercial/office, medical, industrial, transportation, and data center/technology industries. The Special Projects division focuses on quality, proficiency, agility, and the highest levels of service to achieve complete customer satisfaction on every project. James holds a Master Electrician license in Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming, and has a wealth of electrical knowledge based on his 30 years of experience in the industry. He is OSHA 10-hour trained and has completed numerous management and training control courses over the span of his career.

James’ direct experience includes primary and secondary schools, higher education, military projects, office buildings, and data centers/technology buildings. He has direct responsibility for supervision of the Special Projects division’s project plans and specifications for constructability, operability, maintainability and cost-effectiveness.

Tim Markham, Chief Operating Officer (COO)

As COO, Tim Markham oversees the day-to-day operations of the company, including sales, pre-construction, construction operations, and administrative services at Weifield.

Reporting to the CEO, Tim executes Weifield’s business plans, empowers leaders across the company, ensures processes and procedures are efficient, measures and reports on operational performance, and ensures our employees and customers are engaged and satisfied.

Tim’s experience includes nine years as Vice President of Corporate Services for IHS Markit, a public company headquartered in London, U.K., with more than $4 billion in annual revenues, 15,000 employees in 160 offices located in 34 countries. At IHS Markit, Tim had global responsibility for real estate and facilities, procurement, health & safety, corporate travel, and risk management.  He was also heavily involved in M&A due diligence and integration, participating in more than 50 acquisitions and one merger.  Prior to IHS Markit, Tim was Vice President of Corporate Services at Janus Capital Group (now Janus Henderson), overseeing similar functions, as well as overseeing the construction of Janus’ headquarters building in Cherry Creek and evaluating and implementing new processes and systems across the organization. Tim has a bachelor’s degree in business from Colorado State University, an MBA from the University of Colorado, and holds professional certifications in Corporate Real Estate (MCR – CoreNet Global) and Purchasing (C.P.M. – Institute of Supply Management).  Tim is a past board member and committee chair of the Colorado Chapter of CoreNet Global.

Mike Megara, Chief Financial Officer

As Weifield’s CFO, Mike Megara has direct oversight over the company’s accounting-related operations as well as our Corporate Services personnel, including those employed within our Purchasing, Accounting, and Human Resources departments. Mike has responsibility for all of Weifield’s financial records, payroll, banking, and accounting activities to ensure we meet our corporate and fiscal goals.

Mike holds an undergraduate degree in Business Management from SUNY Stony Brook and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. He is a U.S. Military veteran, having served four years in the Marine Corps working in airfield operations. As a marine, Mike was responsible for installing and managing Emergency Air Field Services around the world. Mike has been a Weifield team member since 2009 and is a LEED Green Associate (LEED GA).

Aubrey Cundall, VP, Special Projects

As Special Projects Vice President, Aubrey is responsible for the day-to-day operations of projects which includes: project supervision, coordination, change order estimating, processing, execution, and project collaboration. Additionally, Aubrey handles requests for information, troubleshooting, schedule, and technical issues – and assists the project and construction managers with job site procurement, material and tool management, and billing setup of vendors and subcontractors. He is also responsible for accurate and competitive project estimations to ensure growth and profitability. He proactively prepares and negotiates labor and material electrical estimates, quantifies bills of materials for quotation, and communicates openly with the general contractor. Aubrey also works with the subcontractors and suppliers during the bid process to obtain complete bid package information. He has a proven track record in developing great client relationships and fostering a positive team culture.

Jim Dent, VP, Preconstruction

As Vice President of Preconstruction, Jim Dent is responsible for all aspects of design, estimating, scheduling, negotiating, and coordination occurring within the preconstruction phases of our large construction projects (projects with contract values of $1M to $25M). Jim has 40+ years of electrical experience and possesses an exceptional skill set which includes the ability to manage large, complex projects and use his institutional knowledge to lead vested parties – both internal and external — to success. Jim is a LEED-accredited professional, is certified in Asbestos Abatement, and holds a Master Electrician license. He has a proven track record in preconstruction management, design-build delivery, estimating, budget, and cost control.

Jim was an instructor for the Independent Electrical Contractors – Rocky Mountain (IECRM) apprenticeship program for ten consecutive years and also served as chairperson of the Apprentice and Training Committee for ten years. He is the current president of the Design Build Institute of America (DBIA) – Rocky Mountain Region, is an active member of the United States Green Building Council (USGBC) – Colorado Chapter, and serves on the Colorado State Electrical Board. He is an expert in National Electrical Code (NEC) and the International Energy Conservation Code (IECC), having taught numerous educational seminars on the impacts of each and the 2015 IECC changes in particular, at present.

Curtis Miller, VP, Industrial & Infrastructure

As a Weifield VP of Industrial and Infrastructure, Curtis Miller is responsible for the overall operations of Weifield’s Industrial & Water/Waste Water division. Curtis provides leadership, develops strategic plans to advance the division, and generates revenue, profitability and growth for the division. Curtis has decades of experience working with  industrial applications on several water- and wastewater treatment-related projects. He also has in-depth experience working on projects ranging from small upgrades and retrofits to very large projects consisting of tremendous coordination and time demanding applications, while interfacing within plant operations constraints to keep existing plants running smoothly and without disruption.

Curtis is a Master Electrician who has substantial experience working on a wide variety notable water reclamation facility projects as well as water/waste water treatment plant projects in many cities across  Colorado and Wyoming; notable projects include the Mulberry Water Reclamation Facility Phase IV, the Fort Collins Drake Water Reclamation Facility, the Town of Wellington Waste Water Treatment Facility, the City of Fort Collins Water Treatment Facility,  the Lochbuie Waste Water Treatment Facility, and many others.

Mike Osborne, VP, Operations

Mike Osborne is the Vice President in charge of Weifield’s large construction operations and execution. With more than 35 years of experience, Mike has extensive skills in managing a variety of projects, including wastewater treatment facilities, design-build/assist, and LEED-certified projects such as our National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) Research Support Facilities I & II projects.

Mike is a licensed Master Electrician, is Modicon Level I/II trained, and is 15KV splice/termination- and OHSA 40 hour-certified. As Construction Vice President, he has supervised over 500,000 man hours with no lost time and no OSHA recordable accidents. Mike leads the on-site management of projects by supervising personnel, project budget, project scheduling, safety procedures, quality control, and project efficiency. He has direct oversight and responsibility for the success of our large construction projects, across all industry verticals.

Bret Richmond, General Counsel

As Weifield’s General Counsel, Bret is responsible for the company’s legal function. Bret comes to Weifield with significant in-house legal experience in the construction (Bechtel), aerospace (Space Systems/Loral), and renewable energy (SolarCity/Tesla) industries and the goal of providing simple yet effective legal advice in support of Weifield’s business goals and objectives. Bret earned his Bachelor of Science in Economics from Saint Mary’s College of California and his Juris Doctor from the University of the Pacific McGeorge School of Law.

Anthony Wilemon, VP, Service Division

As Vice President of Weifield’s Service division, Anthony Wilemon has direct supervision of Weifield’s Service Department, which offers routine and warranty electrical service as well as 24/7/365 emergency on-call service. The Service department has completed an extensive portfolio of work with a wide range of public and private commercial and industrial clients. Anthony’s responsibilities include oversight of the Service department’s sales/negotiations, design/build assist work, as well as project design and management.

Anthony’s career has spanned all industries, from medical/laboratory projects, to data centers and technical projects, to higher education, schools, and churches. He holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification and has excelled in his leadership and interpersonal skills within his positions.

Anthony’s goals for the Service team include goals aligning the strategic goals of the company into the Service division, cutting costs through efficiency and process, and effectively serving customers’ needs by providing high quality, quick, timely and accurate service.

Nate Anderson, Texas Division President

As President of Weifield’s Texas division, Nate plays a vital role in our regional leadership. Nate oversees the wide variety of private and public construction projects across all industry verticals in Texas, including high-profile and difficult large projects, and is responsible for providing leadership, developing strategic plans to advance Texas operations, and promoting the region’s revenue, profitability, and growth.

Nate holds a Journeyman’s license and has 21 years of experience in the industry; specifically, Nate’s experience spans design-assist and design-build projects and projects across all verticals (commercial/industrial/residential /maintenance). He also has extensive supervisory experience on Net-Zero Government projects.
